Wood Drying Shed – Custom Order (Built to Order)

Built for reliable year-round use. Wood Drying Sheds are made with pressure treated 2x4s, open-slat siding and treated deck boards. These let air move through and keep firewood off the wet ground. Available in 7 ft or 8 ft heights and in a range of widths and lengths.

Make it your own with any of the add-ons in our brochure (availability depends on building style and size):

• Add-on packages: Deluxe Playhouse, Playhouse, Side Porch, Center Porch, Gable Dormer, Shed Dormer, Garage (8′ or 9′ wide door) and Double Garage Doors.
• Interior: workbench, shelves and loft.
• Exterior: extra porch post, porch railing, Sunburst spindles, 6″ front & back overhang and 7/12 roof pitch.
• Barriers & framing: house wrap vapour barrier, tar paper, 16″ on-centre studs & trusses and 2″x6″ studs & trusses.

Delivery & build-on-site

Delivery is included in the price – FREE delivery within 50 km of any Old Hickory Buildings sales lot in Canada. Build-on-site option: an additional 15% of the building price including add-ons, before tax (the building plus any add-ons or packages you select) is paid directly to the builder at the time of build (not charged online). This builder fee is not included in the price shown here; it is listed in a separate section of your contract. Build-on-site buildings are primed only, not painted.

Doubled top plates on LP SmartSide buildings · 4x6 treated & notched skids · diamond plate door threshold · engineered tongue & groove flooring · colour-matched screws on metal roofing · the same price for a 29-gauge metal roof or architectural shingles.

Engineer Certified: rated for 0.5 kPa winds and 3.4 kPa ground snow load. The wind rating requires customer-supplied anchors. Designed to meet OBC standards; not guaranteed for every local jurisdiction.

Warranty

• 5-year limited warranty
• Limited lifetime warranty against termite damage and fungal decay on all pressure treated wood
• 30-year limited warranty on metal roofing against rust-through
• 50-year manufacturer's warranty on LP Smart Panel siding

Delivery site: must be reachable by truck and trailer and no more than 3 ft out of level.
